The "Beaches"

The island “Morro de Sao Paulo” is made up of five "praias".

The “primiera praia” is the village beach. Its offer a lot of "pousadas" and restaurants and the excellent wave formation attracts surf-lovers.

The “segunda praia” is the beach for amusements and entertainment with its animated night-life.

The “terceira praia” is the beach where you can start to enjoy the tranquility. Here it’s possible to rent kayak and small typical boats.

The “cuarta praia” in all its 6 Km extension creates innumerable natural pools of warm due to the coral reef. The water is crystal clear and about 28°C. Here just with a simple underwater mask you can immerse yourself into this paradise and watch the billowing multitude of colorful fish . This “praia” is recommended to sea, sand and calm lovers.

The “quinta praia” offers big hotels and small “pousade”. Ideal for who desires to have a break from the world due to the distance from the village.
